Siri & Shortcuts
Log or get help, without opening the app
Say it to Siri, tap a control, or glance at a widget. Everything below works on iPhone with iOS 18 or later, and there is nothing to set up.
Siri and Shortcuts
Just say it
I had one
- “I had one in Wane”
- “Log one in Wane”
Logs one now, without opening the app. Your timer starts again. If you open Wane within 10 minutes, an Undo card is there in case it was a mistake.
I’m craving
- “I’m craving in Wane”
- “Help with a craving in Wane”
- “Help me with a craving in Wane”
Opens Wane on Help now, with the breathing ring and timer ready.
- Siri needs the app name in the phrase, so say “in Wane” at the end.
- Both actions also appear in the Shortcuts app and in Spotlight as “I had one” and “I’m craving”. Add them to your own shortcuts and automations.
- On Apple Watch, the same “I had one” action works from Shortcuts and the Action button on Apple Watch Ultra.

How do I log with Siri?
Say “Hey Siri, I had one in Wane” or “Log one in Wane”. Wane logs it right away without opening the app, and your timer starts again. If it was a mistake, open Wane within 10 minutes and tap Undo.
Can Siri help me with a craving?
Yes. Say “Help me with a craving in Wane”, “Help with a craving in Wane” or “I’m craving in Wane”. Siri opens Wane on Help now, with the breathing ring and timer ready. Help now is free.
Do I need to set up the Siri phrases?
No. The phrases work as soon as Wane is installed on an iPhone with iOS 18 or later. They also show up in the Shortcuts app and in Spotlight, where you can add them to your own shortcuts.
How do I add Wane to Control Center?
Open Control Center, tap + to edit, tap Add a Control and search for Wane. Choose I had one to log in one tap, or Craving help to open Help now. You can also use a Wane control on the Lock Screen or the Action button. Controls need iOS 18 or later.
Are Siri, Shortcuts and Control Center free?
Yes. The Siri phrases, the Shortcuts actions and both Control Center controls are free, as is the small moon widget. Wane Pro unlocks every widget size and complication, for $19.99 a year (with a 7-day free trial), $4.99 a month or $39.99 once.
